MP vs JMM

Today as the first time I ever watched a boxing fight of Manny at pay per view. It was soooo stressful hahaha! I was used to knowing the results first before watching. It was a good experience though, and I would love to watch the "remaining" MP matches live on PPV.

Anyways, well well well. controversial as it seems, I honestly believe that Manny won. Initially, yes, I was a bit confused how he won considering that what I just noticed were the counter punches of Juan Manuel Marquez. It wasn't a good fight of Manny. At all. But after the emotions left me, I reflected again and came up with my conclusion that yes, it was Manny's game. He indeed had a hard time but yes, he won it. The least I can think of is having a "Draw" result. Sure, I was not that convinced that Manny gave it his all, but I was equally not convinced that JMM deserved the title. He was just responding to Manny's blows, considering that supposedly he was the challenger. But don;t get me wrong. It was a very good fight. And I still think that if there's one person who could defeat Manny, it's still JMM, his arch-nemesis.

Yup, if ever I do buy silver dollars and bet all of those, I do think that only JMM can defeat MP. Not Mayweather, as others would think so. Only JMM. Like what I read on twitter, if JMM and MP were married, they'd be soul mates!

Football Revival in Pinas

Thank goodness for the Azkals (our Philippine football team), interest and passion for football is renewed here in our country. Though we didn't make it to the Suzuki Cup finals, I am still proud of our team. Like what my hubby said, next time, we will be stronger.

I really really hope that our government does something to uplift our football scene here. We have the physique and agility (plus the heart!!!) to be great football players. Just imagine, our team at the World Cup. Yes, that will come in the near future. I really hope so.

Love the team's color, reminds me of the glass tiles I want for our kitchen walls hehehe.

Anyway....

To team Azkals, MABUHAY KAYO!

Teenage Dream

I'm not talking about Katy Perry's original version. What I am obsessing about is Glee's version of Katy's song "Teenage Dream." Check this out!

What a wonderful voice. That's Darren Criss. And guess what, he's half Pinoy (and half Irish, what a cool blend)! I'm not surprised because I know Filipinos are very very talented (and smart among other positive characteristics!).

Anyway, I read that he's gonna be a Glee regular. Yay! Oh and I read too that another Filipina, Hazel Faith dela Cruz will grace an episode of Glee.

She's the winner of Glee Off to Hollywood Promo.

Galing ng Pinoy!

PS: Yes, It is a Cyber Monday for me today hahaha. I've been checking out videos nonstop from Linkin Park to Mary Bergin to Land Before Time to even TinkerBelle. Well actually, every day is a cyber day for me I guess. Hahaha!

Pacquiao The Grand Boxer

Congratulations, Manny Pacquiao for making our country proud!

I knew in my heart he'd win, but I didn't expect that he'd win that soon. 1 round earlier than that with Eric Morales.

To Ricky Hatton... So much to learn.

Congratualtions again to Manny, to the Filipinos, to the whole nation. We needed a break. This kind of break.

Congratulations to all Filipinos for the fantastic wins this month.... First was Ronnie Alcano conquering the World Pool Championship. And now, our beloved Pacman, Manny Pacquiao. They have certainly made Filipinos proud. I hope both victories will serve as uniting factors for our nation.

And congratulations to Erik "El Terible" Morales; acknowledging Pacman will certainly go well in history.

Mabuhay ang Filipino!
