Meet The Yayas

Let me introduce the two yayas of our household, whom Eanna loves very much:

Yaya A - the official yaya. Had a lot of complications when I hired her but I'm glad I stood up for her and defended her. Hehehehe. She simply adores the little girl.

Yaya N - same name as mine, good thing she has a different nickname! Though not her yaya, Eanna is very fond of her too.

Just earlier today before going to school, Eanna told her Yaya N: "Goodbye Yaya N, I love you." Then blew a kiss. Aww, isn't that sweet?

Yes, they did have this mini pictorial. Somehow they are fond of artificial christmas trees like ours, hahahaha!

Anyway, if "all goes well," I guess I have to have faith in them that they will take care of my little one. More about this once confeermed!

I didn't think that it was possible for the little girl to finally wear her swimming vest and swim by herself. At least not this soon. But she did!!!!

Yes, I'm a super proud Mom!!! Love you honey!

Come on, will these even reach our shores?

News about this Fall collaboration can be found here and here. I am really feeling this collection, especially the colors!

Anyway, look at the models. Gotta love their makeup! So very fall: clean and a bit pale face (probably matte makeup over face moisturizer for dry skin), dark burgundy wine0y lips, just a smidge of blush and simple yet lined eyes. LOVE.

The collection is only available in Europe (27 Nov in the UK). The hubby is in Europe. I'm a size XS. Is someone reading this? (Someone=hubby).

Too Much Heaven

The husband counted his blessings...

E: Christmas is near.
V: Before Christmas there is the day when we hammered our head with stone.
E: Why, are you regretting that day?
V: Nope, but maybe you are?
E: I have a beautiful daughter, a beautiful home, a nice career even if you bug me about it, and a beautiful and loving wife. What more can I ask for?

Awww.

Good health perhaps? Hahahha. Kidding.

So to all couples who are in love, yes, one can get too much heaven even in the shortest of conversations with each other.

Indeed, Love is such a beautiful thing.

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Oh you and me girl
Got a lot of love in store
And it flows through you
And it flows through me
And I love you so much more
Than my life...

I can see beyond forever
Everything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
Oh you make my world..a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

You and me girl got a highway to the sky
We can turn away from the night and day
And the tears you had to cry
You're my life...

I can see a new tomorrow
Everything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
When you watching me, the light above
Made for all to see our precious love

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Love is such a beautiful thing
You make my world a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as wide as a river and harder to cross

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Arya Residences and Chef Sau

If I were to win a lotto, I will definitely want to live in a 3-bedroom executive condo in Arya Residences.

We went to their open house last weekend to check out the place (and to make chika with a family friend *daughter actually hehehe). I immediately fell in love. Similar to what I felt when the hubby and I checked out Beaufort of Filinvest. Super salivate. Hahahha.

After looking at the model units, we were off to watch Chef Sau del Rosario's demo: baking muffins and cookies! The little girl truly loved watching and tasting the yummy treats!

Ugh. I kinda look fat here. It makes me think of finally trying those pills but I;m just a little hesitant because of weight loss pill side effects. Should I even risk it, right?

Anyway, Chef Sau's restos include Chelsea Market, Mr. Jones, and the newly opened Bistro Vert. We ate in Chelsea and Mr. Jones and we loved the food. Chachi and I are planning to eat in Bistro Vert. I'm sure the food will be fantastic!

You should never depend on someone else. At the end of the day, you only have yourself to rely on.

At least that's what I feel at this very minute.

There is something about fall and Christmas that makes me want to feel and look and wear glam. Check out these cocktail dresses featured in StyleBible.Ph which I seriously want.

Randy Ortiz for Kashieca

United Pop at The Ramp

Plus this lovely pair of sparkly pumps:
Lloyd Pumps by Michael Antonio

Anyway, I got really intrigued by the Randy Ortiz Collection and found 2 more that I really want to try:
Looks like these pieces have a future in my wardrobe. Must head to Kashieca! I'll probably go to Power plant next Friday. Will check out the available pieces (though I'm quite sure there aren't any Black Friday deals here in the Philippines) before watching Harry Potter!

I Have Not Begun (Unreleased Linkin Park Demo 2009) by Mike Shinoda

Check out the lyrics on Mike Shinoda's website.

Unfortunately I am not an LPU member (US only I think!) so I can't really buy the CD. Great track though and I am sure the others are great as well.

IN THEATERS TODAY!

Oh I can't wait till I watch the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Much as I want to watch on the first day, I promised my BFF that we'd watch it together. Unfortunately, she's still in Boracay. That means, I should spend time first checking out new phones like htc desire hd because she won't be arriving until this Sunday. ACCCCK! The suspense is totally killing me. I really really hope that the wait is sooo worth it. Well, I have always appreciated Harry Potter whether the films were great or not that great!

Rustan's Price Blast From The Past

This is for tomorrow only!!!!

Thinking About Jewelry

Ok, that sapphire engagement ring made me think about jewelry. So here goes my list, if money is not an issue:

Emerald - my birth stone. Emerald green, my favorite color

Goodness, the flawless skin of Angelina Jolie and Julianne Moore (do they use a specific acne treatment?) all the more glowed with these lovely deep green jewels. I am literally GREEN with envy. Hahaha.

Blue Sapphire - there is just something that draws me to this lovely gem. Eanna's birth stone too! Aise from this, it's the color of our curtains hahaha. Anyway, here's Bulgari's Sapphire jewelry.

Diamond - a girl's best friend? Hahahah.

Plus Bulgari's Allegra Collection is very close to my heart. I just simply love it.

I adore this:

I am reaching for the stars here!

Will + Kate

I envy her for the ring, hahaha. I have wanted to have that kind of ring for the longest time.

Plus of course an Irish/Celtic Sapphire/Diamond eternity ring which I originally wanted as wedding bands but later decided to let go of in favor of a simpler (and less expensive) one.

I'm seriously thinking of getting one done, especially now that I remember that Eanna's birth stone is the blue sapphire. Buy for me, give to her in the future. Sounds like a good plan ehehehehe.

Anyway, cheers to the royal couple!

Teenage Dream

I'm not talking about Katy Perry's original version. What I am obsessing about is Glee's version of Katy's song "Teenage Dream." Check this out!

What a wonderful voice. That's Darren Criss. And guess what, he's half Pinoy (and half Irish, what a cool blend)! I'm not surprised because I know Filipinos are very very talented (and smart among other positive characteristics!).

Anyway, I read that he's gonna be a Glee regular. Yay! Oh and I read too that another Filipina, Hazel Faith dela Cruz will grace an episode of Glee.

She's the winner of Glee Off to Hollywood Promo.

Galing ng Pinoy!

PS: Yes, It is a Cyber Monday for me today hahaha. I've been checking out videos nonstop from Linkin Park to Mary Bergin to Land Before Time to even TinkerBelle. Well actually, every day is a cyber day for me I guess. Hahaha!

My New Whistle!

Thanks to my hubby, I have a new tin whistle! It's the Walton's Guinness Black Tin Whistle!

The hubby got the whistle+book+dvd package and I am so thankful that he got me this. It's another whistle to be added in my collection.

Goodness, I have suddenly re-acquired the "phenomenon" known as the Whistle Obsessive Acquisition Disorder (Whoa) hahahaha. Relatively cheap (in price) collection, maximum satisfaction!

8th

Congratulations are in order for our very own pride, Congressman Manny Pacquiao, for winning his 8th belt! Wow, what a feat that is! I was a bit nervous because like one tweep tweeted, "it looked like a fourth grader was fighting with a sixth grader." Margarito was huge compared to Manny! However, as we all have witnessed, it's not all about how big a fighter is. It's how skilled one is and how to strategize. Manny was great. Coach Fred was great as well. As for Margarito, I feel sorry for him because of the bruises and cuts he got. I hope there weren't any handicapped signs alerting an early retirement. He was really swollen. Manny, being a great fighter that he is, wanted the game to be stopped but then the referees didn't signal any game over signs. Oh well.

To the great boxer Manny P, thank you for being an inspiration yet again!

Wonderful Week

It was quite a wonderful week amid Eanna being brought to the hospital due to her allergic conjunctivitis and the endless ploys to let her drink her medicines. It was a week filled with little blessings and surprises, bouts of love sprinkled every day. I truly enjoyed this week.

Now I am all the more excited for the coming week or two. I know that nuggets of happiness will be received each and every hour of the day. Yes, I am very positive right now. I don't want any of those negativity around.

Have a blessed, cheerful, fruitful, and meaningful week ahead!

But then again, if it's for me, then it's for me. If not, then I know God has other plans.

Two Egg Yolks

For the past few days, I've been munching my way into fatness, but I really can't help it. Imagine, a total of 6 bars of chocolate in 3 days, that's too much right? I blame it on PMS-ing, I'm always like this when the time of the month comes. Oh well. So anyway, I need to shed a few pounds yet again. What I plan to do (aside from checking out the best fat burner in town), is to strictly have 3 meals a day. That includes breakfast, which i am so not used to.

Anyway, I decided to prepare breakfast consisting of veal sausage and scrambled eggs and lo and behold! I cracked my egg and this came out:

Egg soothsayers, what say you?

I got Preview's November Issue because 1) Louis Vuitton's A/W 2010 Collection is featured, thus Mad Men looks! 2) Cristine Reyes looked beautiful! 3) Check out the cover and the features seemed interesting... and they were!

So far I am loving every page of the issue, even the ads, hahaha. The Beauty awards section si amazing as well, as it featured the best products in town. Makeup, cleansers, hair products, skincare products (including acne products), body stuff, etc. The fashion spreads are also great, inspired by Mad Men of course!

Grab your copy now, you will not regret!
