Promod Maxi Dress

Got my second maxi dress from Promod!

It was a totally impulse purchase but I just couldn't resist. It was love at first sight! I spotted it a good distance away but my eyes just got drawn to it. And when I tried it. My goodness. Confirmed love. It fit me well, and the colors suit me. Goodness I love the color combination! Various shades of green, khaki, then sudden pops of salmon-y reddish color. I love talaga!

I am really so into maxi dresses for summer! Of course, being into it is different front carrying it well, right? Hahaha. But really, I don't think anyone can go wrong with maxi-dresses, even if you think you're someone who thinks need lipozene hehehe!

Royal Wedding fever

Watching the Royal Wedding coverage right now. I am so sure (and I am hoping, have faith, and firmly believe) that William + Kate will last a lifetime. What a real fairytale.

Watching the wedding reminded me of my own wedding. The ecstatic feeling, the bliss, the happiness and joy. Wow. And of course, walking down the aisle. Wearing a lovely dress.

Here was Kate's:

I really liked her gown. It kinda reminded me of mine.

But mine was inspired by Grace Kelly's (I love Princess Grace!) gown. Just personalized mine by having a colored sash.

Forever 21 Sale This Weekend

Just wanna share this...

I must stay away from Megamall this weekend. Since I'm stressed, a trip there will not be good for the wallet.

EDIT: I succumbed to going to Megamall. For groceries initially. Then we drifted to Our Home. Then Forever 21. Then we all went crazy hahaha. I didn't know there was a 3-day sale in Megamall, and good thing we were there first thing in the morning. There were so much stuff on sale, including gift ideas for Mother's Day and even Tailgating Gifts for Men would you believe! Oh well, at least we all had fun.

I don't want to admit it, but fine. I'm stressed. Client demands. Determining root causes of concerns and variations. But mostly, client demands.

I'm stressed. Can I still take it?

Red Patchuli

After much resistance and weeks (or was it months?), I finally succumbed to Melissa shoes. But, not to what I initially thought would be my undoing.

I first wanted the Amazona in purple when I saw it last Feb in Mix Greenbelt.

Then I wanted it in red since I don't have an updated pair of red shoes (which for me is a must). Then when I fit the blue, I was like... hmmm...

But later on the red Patchuli grew on me, after seeing Katy Perry's Plastic Dreams.

Yep, I'm a sucker that way, and right now Katy Perry's album is my soundtrack hahaha.

Anyways, I wanted to buy online but it didn't have the red number, so I just got them in Anthem Powerplant.
It really is LOVE. Tough decision, but I think I made the right choice.

Feel na feel ko oh!

This is LOVE. And hopefully the last pair for the year. Well, maybe the Amazona. Hahaha.

EDIT: Just remembered that the hubby is reading my blog. Oops. Ok fine. This IS the last pair for the year. "Officially." Ok na?

Found this in La Dolce Vita...

*Sigh*

What a lovely short film.

I just wish we have a similar short film for the Philippines to help promote our country.

Lovely Spring Picture

When will I ever experience this kind of blissful setting...

Summer is Officially Here

Because the weather was so weird last March, I didn't regard it as the month where summer started. But now, oh yes, we are feeling the heat!

Next weekend, our family will be in Batangas and I can't wait. It's that time of the year when my whole family (my side) will spend the weekend together to fore R&R (and hopefully meditation and reflection too!).

Anyways, this is also the time when I love wearing light fabric clothes. Got a maxi dress already from Kamiseta earlier this month...

But, I saw this and yaiks! Poor me... I LOVE IT.

Can't afford this but I really really want. Hmm, ano kaya?

Oh well, whatever my decision is, will be for the best. Hahaha.

But here are my summer picks!

I just hope that amid the heat there will still be enough wind to at least make my wind chimes move a bit. Hehehe. Happy Summer to all!

Rio the Movie

Let me just say that we totally enjoyed the movie Rio. TRIPLE LOVE FROM US!

I don't know who enjoyed it more, Eanna or I. Or even Yaya! This movie is very entertaining indeed. The little girl was laughing loud, eyes glued to the movie screen! She was even dancing during the song/dance scenes, she got the attention of the girls behind us. They were pointing at her and laughing and saying how cute she is. Hehehe. That's my girl!

It really is a must-see movie. When I got out of the cinema, I was still raving about it. I only wished the hubby was with us, but oh well. Life's like that.

Love love love this movie date with the little girl!

Saturday Fun at Mercato Central

Yesterday was quite a blast for us, since we started the day quite good and ended it even better. After a short swim of Eanna, we headed to Mercato Centrale to meet and have brunch with my girl friends. It's the first time for me in Mercato, and my expectations are quite high based on what I've read about it. Plus, this is where the Tweetup is happening, so it's a plus too to go there.

Anyways, this is me and the little girl at Mercato...
So many food to choose from, nakakaloka!

We ended up buying these for brunch:
Chicken wings from Manang's Chicken - YUMMY. I haven't tried the Bon Chon chicken and they said that this is even better. I liked it! Plus the price... 6 pcs for PhP 120. LOVE.

Paella Negra - this was ok, I like it too. I just find it a little too expensive at PhP 280, considering only 1 shrimp was added. Ok lang talaga.

Grilled Brazilian Rib Eye - this I was disappointed a bit. Or maybe it's because grilled steak is not suitable for brunch especially if you don't have the right utensils. I ended up piercing it with my plastic fork and biting from it as if it's a hotdog. Php 195.00.

There's so much that you can buy but I set my budget hehehe. I got these:
1. Mapple - Mango that looks like apple. I love love love these! My Dad used to bring these home whenever he goes to Davao. PhP 100/kilo

2. Schublig - 4 big pieces. Can't wait to try it. Php 210/ .5 kilo. Php 400/kilo

3. Organic Pork Chops - what we're having for lunch now! Organically grown/bred/fed. No antibiotics. PhP 200 / kilo. Chicken also available, same price.

4. Tiny Buds Talc-Free Powder - la lang. Just wanted to get it. Php 100.

Was disappointed because I was looking for these chile dips that I saw online (forgot the name, remembered the look), but didn't find them there (supposedly they're sold in Mercato).

Anyway, I'll probably go there again but this time with the hubby.

Truly enjoyed our stay there, though it was really hot! Eanna was complaining non-stop.

Eanna: Mama it's so hot here, open the aircon!
Me: Hon there's no aircon here.
Eanna: Sa mall may aircon...

NGI. She had to speak in Tagalog to make her point. She hardly speaks straight Tagalog. Well probably this was the first time. Hahaha.

Next up... a blog on us watching Rio the movie!

EDIT: finally remembered the chile dips... Chile Vitas!

More Cambridge Satchel Love

Ok. What's wrong with me. I'm getting hooked on this bag. I know I've got the green one but I am seriously falling in love with the yellows in 11" size.

Fluo Yellow {image from Asos.com}

Standard Yellow {Image from Yukilo's Chictopia}

The standard yellow was actually my preferred choice... probably a tie with the green one. But since only green was available I got it too. But now, argh, parang I like talaga.

Can I afford another one? Heart says yes, mind and hubby says no. Hahahaha. We'll see.

Week's Recap

There were a couple of things during the week that brought me happiness and tears. Here goes!

1. Got caught by MMDA - for violating the coding scheme. Thought the NBI Commemorative Plate had the privilege of being exempted from that scheme. I let the MMDA guys talk to the person whom my friend got the plate and I was let go without any fines. However, I was totally scared. I know that only 1 should approach the apprehended driver. They were 4 of them. I just didn't point that to them, they probably would make my life that time more difficult. This was along EDA Pasay ha. What the heck do they always do there anyways. I guess they catch a lot of drivers there. UGH.

2. Got caught by MMDA again - A minute after I got apprehended again. This was when I was talking to the guy about the NBI75 plate. I told the MMDA guy that I got apprehended already and was let go. One look at me and he quickly said that he's apprehending me coz I was using the phone. UGH. I think he just came up with that after I told him I already got caught. No way could he see me since our car is heavily tinted. Only saw me holding my phone when I opened my window. Anyways, I was able to get out alive with no fines. But I was in tears, really. Not drama effect, but it was real. I mean, get caught twice within a minute / 50 meters? UGH.

3. Work - Not really the best times at work. Issues with internal clients that our team needs to resolve next week. My face time with my staff was really pleasant but since they're back to back to back, it really drained me. Especially the one where I had to talk to one for more than 2 hours.

4. Work - Happy this time because our team is excited in putting up our Visual Management System (VMS). I know there are times when I doubt that we can sustain being PEXified (Process Excellence), but I know this will help our team perform better.

5. Eanna - happy happy with my little daughter. She started her summer class and when I come home she tells me what she cooked (cooking this week, music next, arts after). What's funnier about her though is that she now has two habits: Coming up with her own To-Do list to bargain with either Yaya or myself. Example: Eating time, Drink Ceelin, Swim, Dress Up, Schoon / School (Imagine her pointing at her fingers one by one as she enumerates her to-do's). How cute is that hahaha. Next, she has develop the habit of asking for a whole body massage from me! I don't mind though, I love holding her.

6. Hubby - Though not as often as before, we regularly talk via Skype. He's very busy, considering that he is being trained already for the next position, which he will assume in May. Now that's the best news I've heard so far. I'm so proud of my husband!

All for now. I'd better start preparing for today - I want this weekend to be a good one!

Picked up my newest bag (birthday gift... super advance!) today, and I super love it! It may be a little big (but I guess it suits my lifestyle right now hahaha) but I love it nonetheless! Anyhoo, here are some pics, sorry it's a little blurred. I'm just excited to share this to you.

Presenting Emerald, she's my new satchel. :P

More pics later, but so far... this is LOVE. Thinking of getting an 11" yellow one but we'll see... maybe not now!

Cambridge Satchels are sold in Schu stores. Check them out in their Schu Shop Manila site and their Schu Facebook page.

Here are pics of me using MAC's Good To Go.

Actually. It really is bright orange, but only when you apply the lipstick directly from the tube. It does take a different "hue" when you use a lip brush, as I have done earlier. Using a brush, the color is more subdued, taking on a reddish-orange tone. Any which I apply it, I love this lipstick!

Check out my current lip gaga... Mac's Good to Go!

Thanks dear hubby for this! Been wearing it for a week now, and I must say that I LOVE it. Summer color talaga!

I've blogged before about me wanting to get Make Up For Ever's Rouge Intense #38/39 but since it's out of stock and I can't wait to get myself a bright non-red lipstick, I opted to get Mac instead.

Still not convinced if you should go for it?

Check this out, as seen in Who What Wear...

If you don't like orange, then here are the next best bets (for me at least!):

1. PINK: MAC's Pink Nouveau - super hot / "in" lipstick! First application, mild pink. Second application... WOAH PINK!

2. PINK/PEACH/CORAL: Make Up For Ever Rouge Intense #36, 37, 38, 39. I wanted the #38 but since the store didn't have a tester, I didn't get it. Can't break my rule about lipstick, which is test first before buy.  Tried that 37, on the pink side. Like bright pink. Tried the 39, on the orange-y side, I liked it. But i really wanted the 38. We'll see, hehehe but I think I had enough already.
