... And These Shoes Too

If only I could turn back time and be in Hk again.

Sigh. So many things I missed simply because of getting bitter for not purchasing a Celine bag. Ulk. Maybe next time.

The Bag I Almost Bought

Celine Mini Luggage Tote
*Sob sob sob*

I almost got this. Why did it have to cost thaaaat much? Why did they have to jack up the prices to make me think twice and leave me no choice but to let it pass????

I've wanted this last year. I've promoted this to my Aunt (who is a Birkin addict) and my Mom and both got in different colors. Mom got a really good deal when she got hers. Apparently there are a lot of shops (some hard to find because they have got no address signs) that sold designer bags at cheap prices, but apparently Celine luggage tote bags are so in demand their prices are either at par with store prices, or even higher!

It was supposed to be my turn. I should've been first, you know.

Sigh.

PS: Another option was the Orange color. But I feared that it was too orange.

HK Trip 2011: Beauty Loot

Yes, I know. Every time I go on a trip outside the Philippines, buying some beauty loot is a must. Sometimes, these are all that I get out of my vacay. This is one of those times. Hehehe. Thank goodness there's Sasa. Sasa truly is love.

Let me share with you the measly loot I had for this trip:

1. Ex Volume Cyber Colors Mascara
I wanted to get the Majolica Majorca mascara but the Sasa attendant told me this mascara is way better (and more expensive hahaha). It's a Korean brand - instantly curls, instantly volumes. I tried it and it looked good, so I'm sold.

2. Maybelline pure Mineral Compact Powder

Remember this?
I got this in Singapore earlier this year. Thank goodness I did because this powder just suits me perfectly. Forget Mac Studio Fix or the Chanel white powder that I have always used. Maybelline Pure Mineral Powder is love (and waaaaay cheaper, to boot!).

3. Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner

Again, I wanted to get a Majolica Majorca eyeliner, but the Sasa lady highly recommended this. Will try this out soon so I really hope it's good. It's cheap anyways so no harm if ever!

4. Giorgio Armani lipsticks
I've seen Giorgio Armani makeup a long time ago (if I'm not mistaken, I've seen it first in, guess what.. our Duty Free Center!), and that time I didn't get any. Felt they were too expensive (that or I had no moolah or purchasing power that time hehehe).

My interest got piqued again upon seeing this lovely photo of Megan Fox....
I told myself, I want that lipstick!!! And so I got one... two actually. Hehehe.

525 Mauve from the Fall 2011 collection:
107 Sheer beige, 108 Sheer pink beige, 406 Red, and 525 Sheer mauve

I also got this raspberry-colored Sheer lipstick:
I love these lipsticks! If only I got more hahaha! These will do for now, but I plan to get their blush and powder one of these days (hope these are sold in Singapore for my sister to check out and get for me!).

See, measly right?

There were some that I should have bought and now I'm soooo regretting not getting (and these do not include weight loss pills which were sooo everywhere I was slightly tempted to get some hahahaha).

Like these:

Benefit Sugarbomb

Kiehl's Creme de Corps

I was so in a hurry leaving DFS Galleria. I really thought these would be available in the Airport. Shucks.

Anyways, that's all. :P

Whew! I've just been back from our family HK Trip, and boy it was a blast. We stayed for 4 days and these days were so fully packed that when we got home, I could no longer move my feet... as if they just shut down completely hahaha.

Anyways, I'm still downloading our pics so I'll just update later on. Meantime, I'm going to post the measly loot I had.

Yup, measly. As in.

Why?

Because we simply didn't have time to walk around. This vacay was Eanna's - trip to Toys R Us, whole day in HK Disney, and whole day in Ocean Park. See, no time for shopping. Hmph.

Oh well.

See ya in a bit!

MP vs JMM

Today as the first time I ever watched a boxing fight of Manny at pay per view. It was soooo stressful hahaha! I was used to knowing the results first before watching. It was a good experience though, and I would love to watch the "remaining" MP matches live on PPV.

Anyways, well well well. controversial as it seems, I honestly believe that Manny won. Initially, yes, I was a bit confused how he won considering that what I just noticed were the counter punches of Juan Manuel Marquez. It wasn't a good fight of Manny. At all. But after the emotions left me, I reflected again and came up with my conclusion that yes, it was Manny's game. He indeed had a hard time but yes, he won it. The least I can think of is having a "Draw" result. Sure, I was not that convinced that Manny gave it his all, but I was equally not convinced that JMM deserved the title. He was just responding to Manny's blows, considering that supposedly he was the challenger. But don;t get me wrong. It was a very good fight. And I still think that if there's one person who could defeat Manny, it's still JMM, his arch-nemesis.

Yup, if ever I do buy silver dollars and bet all of those, I do think that only JMM can defeat MP. Not Mayweather, as others would think so. Only JMM. Like what I read on twitter, if JMM and MP were married, they'd be soul mates!

Baguio Trip 2011

Whew. Just got back from our Baguio trip, and though the journey took hours (5 hours one way!), it was soooo well worth it!!!

The little girl was so happy the whole time, referring to the house where we stayed her "winter house." Hahaha. It was soooo cold, but in a really nice way. We went to the usual tourist spot places such as Burnham Park, Wright Park, the Grotto, Tam-awan Village (Garden in the Sky), Strawberry Farm, etc ets.

The hubby and I also had a date night at the Manor where he treated me a lovely dinner... *Sigh*

Many stories to tell but I'm really tired right now. Pics to follow too, and probably a review on what we ate at Le Chef. All I can say is, thank goodness we pushed through with our trip. I would definitely love to go back to Baguio even if traffic is a major bi-atch hahaha. Wish I could always travel and experience other places (makes me want to check out Travel Jobs hahah).

Promise, more pics and stories to come. For now, I must rest. There's work tomorrow! Now that's another battle. Hahaha.
