New Hobby?

As soon as my hubby leaves (huhuhu) again and is away for 3 months, I do, sincerely, honestly, and truly will hit the gym and exercise. That, plus join my mother walking every Saturday morning.

I know,  I know. Even my hubby was smiling as I told him my plans. Thanks for the vote of confidence, huh? Hehe. But seriously, I am really serious in finally losing weight. I hit the 120+ pound limit already, so that's my cue to start shaping up.

But aside from this, i also want to take on a new hobby. Something music-related, perhaps? For the longest time I've shied myself into doing anything guitar-related. My hands were to small and my fingers I guess were not long enough. But hey, maybe it is about time to explore this part. I can just imagine that when I finally get to learn playing, I'd ask my brothers to play the drums and the bass guitar, while I play the guitar and sing. My sister will be back up. Hahaha. Kidding. Then we'd have a headset microphone each so that we can blend our voices beautifully. Naks.

If all fails though, I'd just play the piano again and do more practices on my tin whistle. We'll see. Till then, I must prep myself for some serious bootie jiggling.

Fatter Fingers

Last December, I refrained from wearing my wedding ring and engagement ring because they were a bit too tight. A few weeks later, my fingers went back to normal, and so I was able to wear them again.

A couple of vacations and buffet meals after, I am back to my fatter fingers. 

Ugh. I know, I know, I need to lose weight. I even made a post promising that i will go back to being slim and reduce my waist bulge.

But...

I. CAN'T. HELP. IT.

I love food. I hate exercise. 

And now I am back here pondering why I'm so stubborn when it comes to food and exercise that I had a fleeting thought of checking out diamond engagement rings and get a bigger sized one. Hahaha.

Kidding aside, seriously. Again.

Battle of the Red Lips

Happy Valentine's day to all!

I know this day is too commercialised, but still, I choose to celebrate it. Yeah, I'm cheesy that way hahaha.

Anyway, I'm not the type of girl who wears red clothing every Valentine's Day, but I do get to wear something else... red lipstick!

Actually, for me it means spring is here (naks, even though wala nito sa Pinas haha) and soon summer will be next. I'm pretty much predictable in this aspect... red lips for spring/summer, maroonish for autumn/winter. (Feel talaga ang 4 seasons noh!) Pinks, corals, and nudes in betweens, but generally it's red or maroon for me.

But I'm kinda getting tired of my Mac Ruby Woo and Russian Red (currently wearing this shade) and my Revlon Top Tomato, so I'm scouting for my next favorite red lipstick.

My contenders are:

1. Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in Enthusiast

Le smokin'eh? Hehehe. As sexy as a red-lipped woman hitting some nicaraguan cigars, hahaha!

Honestly, I really like the Garconne lipstick but the price is sooo prohibitive hahaha. But initially I wanted the Revlon as the Revlon lady told me that it has the same staying power as that of the Ultimate Liquid that I have (Top Tomato), which I must say is sooo worth it.

So, what would it be? We'll see, because right now all three are unavailable, so I can't really confirm. I'm really hoping though that I'd get the Guerlain. :)

Parisian Home Design Interiors

When I saw these lovely photos, I knew that this home (Audrey Brandt Design) could possibly be the best design inspiration for our home.

Why did I say this could be the best peg so far as compared to my previous inspirations?

• Our walls are in that shade already, no need to repaint to a different color!
• Kitchen is very similar already. Well at least our future kitchen, which is now currently being built! :)
• It addresses my need for color, since black and white is something I like but I do have a tendency to get bored with the combo. But there is still that element of black via the wall decor.
• Color green: this year's color, plus per Feng Shui, the color that is best for me (Horse) and hubby (Rabbit). 
• Color green again: MY FAVORITE COLOR
• Love the romantic feel without it being overly girly.
• Check out the girl's room! Very Provence- effect with the lemon yellow walls and French lavender accent!

Now as to our master bedroom. Well, I must say that I want a revamp but I am still in love with our French lavender color. But if I do change, it is still a toss between:

Pink Champagne / Gold / Ivory Combo

or

Dusty Blue / Gold / White Combo

Dont' Worry, Just Breathe

It seems this is beginning to be so, and in all aspects of my life right now. The start of the year was really good, and I hope that the rest of the year will be.

I love my life right now, and I feel truly blessed.

A dynamic and thriving career, healthy mind, healthy body (even if I did gain a lot huhuhu), makulit but sweet daughter, nice home, good food, loving family, manageable finances. And let me not forget: a kulit and bugnutin husband.

Thank you God for this life. I will live it to the best I can according to Your will.
