Dark On Me

I have a confession to make... I broke my vow of not buying any personal items during the Lenten Season. Though I blame it on myself for actually saying yes, I partly blame my husband for pushing me to get the Olay Total Effects A Touch of Foundation. I have blogged about purchasing one but planned two wait until Lent is over.

My husband however forced me to get one since we were already in the grocery and that at least I'd use something when we go to the beach.

It must be God's way of telling me "Hah!" because it turned out that no matter what the product said that it's for all skin colors and skin types, IT WAS TOO DARK ON MY FACE. At first I thought maybe I wasn't used to using something with foundation. But then I just had to accept the fact that it really was too dark when I saw a picture of me under the sun, and I looked tanned.

Don't mind my sweaty husband - this was taken after kayaking and relay hahaha.

My face here matched my neck color because I put on it too. But yeah, I found it dark on me. Ack. I should have gotten a wrinkle cream or the Olay Regenerist night cream. now my question is, what do I do with it? Should I still use it or should I just give it away?
