30 Strands a Day

I recently watched in Rated K a segment where hair loss was the topic. At first it was amusing how people take pains in buying products or even taking hair loss vitamins just to have thicker hair. Then when one of the featured guests said that she got bothered by the fact that she loses around 100 strands a day, I just realized that there were times when I did get bothered by hair fall whenever I brush my hair or even when I am bathing.

Maybe I am just taking for granted that I have thick hair (though not that obvious because I have very fine strands) but I guess I shouldn't be too confident, especially since I have this habit of pulling my hair strands too (very bad habit, and it arose from me being asked to take out either white hair or dead hair when I was young).

I checked my hair fall and the result was: 30 strands a day. Haven't counted the ones in my brush too. But isn't it alarming? Or not yet? maybe I should use those hair fall control shampoos and conditioners for now, but I'm praying I won't resort to medication or supplements later in life!
