Tamed Hair

The crow turned white yesterday, and so I went to (gasp!) the parlor and had my hair cut. This was after much prodding by my officemate last week for me to cut my hair and have a hair spa.

I'm not really a parlor person, and if there are parts of my body that I gave up on, these are: my skin (save for my face), my jiggly thighs, and my hair.

Yup, everyday is a bad hair day for me. I tried to control it, but it seems to have a mind of its own. Last year though, I had my hair rebonded, and it looked so fabulous. Well, up until my hair started growing. And so the curly side lorded over again. Not to mention the split ends that erupted due to the rebonding process. I never had split ends, even though my hair was mostly dry and frizzy all the time... Well actually, the hair specialist told me that my hair was oily, but my scalp is the one that's dry.

So anyway, there I was in the parlor, and the funny thing was, I was more focused in reading the InStyle mags than my hair being cut hehehe. The stylist recommended that I get a hair spa. I at first didn't like the idea as I was in a hurry, but succumbed to the idea because honestly, I felt that my scalp is really irritated. I was just drawn aback upon seeing the total cost of my salon trip. Gasp! But hey, it's only once in a blue moon that I enter the world of Parlor Planet, so might as well indulge a bit.
