The iPad Issue

After tinkering with the iPad yesterday, my desire to get one became greater than ever. Seriously. I have never experienced this kind of desire for a techie gadget since I got introduced to the world of PDAs a couple of years ago.

I have long fought against going ahead and purchasing one by telling myself that I already have a nice little laptop and that i should just wait for the 2nd generation. However, this nagging excuse also comes into mind... Eanna. I know, I know, I kinda sounded like those Pinoy celebs (like KA and CB) who used their kids as excuses to the actions they made, but seriously, just imagine the wide range of educational apps currently offered for the iPad and how much fun it would be for Eanna to learn a huge amount of things by just playing with and using it.

Then again, my Dad, who frowns upon me getting one, commented that nothing beats books and art materials when teaching the little girl. Ack. He is right, I guess.

There are still a couple of reasons why I want one (such as downloading e-mags and e-bboks) but I guess this gadget will have to wait.

*Sigh*
