I first saw Go Greek in Food Choices of Glorietta a few months back, probably when it just started. I wanted to try it out but I was a bit taken aback by the prices of the meals. The [rice range was not exactly within the range of food-court meals (save for House of Minis I guess?). Nevertheless, I vowed to try it the next time I would feel like eating Greek food.
That time came the other day. I was craving for Greek food and decided to give Go Greek a try.
I chose the Lamb Rack set - it had lamb, side salad (greens, tomatoes, olives), and potatoes (option too is rice). Together with the set meal are two dressings. The vinaigrette I assume for the salad, the other one, I honestly don't know but I tried it on the potatoes and it tasted good.
At first I was disappointed with the size of the lamb but at the end of the meal I was really full. I guess the servings were just right. The lamb was perfectly cooked - you can really taste the Mediterranean flavors. Very Cyma - if I got it right, Go Greek is the fastfood version of the famous resto (which I love, by the way). The potatoes, well I think they were a bit too baked as it wasn't crispy on the outside.
I also ordered the lemon soup.
It had chicken pieces and I guess this is the Greek version of arroz caldo. Love it too, though I think some may find it a little too sour.
Overall I would highly recommend Go Greek. I can't wait to try the other set meals like the kebabs and the roast chicken. I'm quite confident they taste good as well.
