I was trying to begin fixing our home in preparation for the coming of dear husband, and I found (again!) the Shell Ferrari toy cars that he collected. This kind of annoyed me (again!) because these little collectibles are really out of place in our home design, and I have nowhere else to place them.
Honestly, I am not a fan of collecting any items, and I don’t know if I will ever be interested in having a collection of my own. Do bags count though? Hahaha. Kidding. Anyway, I have known a couple of relatives who have their own thing. I have seen two huge albums of stamp collection of my Aunt. I was amazed at how meticulous she was, making sure that these stamps were carefully (and lovingly I assumed) put in order and that spacing between the stamps is ample, to ensure symmetry and good aesthetics. My Dad had amassed a couple of collectible spoons from various countries where he had been to. These are displaced in his den.
Ok, going back to Enrique’s cars… I better keep them first in a safe place (hopefully he won’t notice that his cars are no longer in the kitchen ledge – gash, totally an eye sore in my home lab!) and just bring them out in the future… perhaps when he has a den of his own?
