But before the Mandarin experience, we first went to Las Pinas for our god-son's 2nd birthday party. We got kinda lost before finally arriving at the resort, hahaha. Here are some of the pics!
When we came to the hotel, there was an available room but not the one we requested. We stayed for a bit in the pool area, and after one hour, we were told that we have been upgraded to a Business Room. Yay, right? So we still stayed and lounged by the pool and had some drinks and meryenda...
The little girl insisted that the pool guard clean the kiddie pool before she swims. She was like "it's dirty! clean please, it's dirty!" The pool guard had to fish out even the minutest of bits because dear duaghter kept on pointing and said "there! more there! ayun pa!" Hahahahaha.
I kinda wanted to relax a bit but my Boss shouted "Mama!!! Swim please!" I couldn't resist my little queen so I did. She was showing off, really. She was like "I like swimming!" Lovely girl. But then, she wanted to play Horsey horsey. Fine, it's her day so I obliged.
Here's one pic that I loved...
We got hungry, so we had to get something...
Sangria
Chicken fingers
Nachos
After eating, the hubby suggested that it's time for us to check out our room. Besides, the little girl's lips were turning violet hehehe. So off we went to our room. It was a nice big one, though there's only one bed. Ngik.
Anyways, the princess couldn't get enough of the water so we settled for the tub.
She enjoyed it too much that she shouted "Papa! Please give me bath tub!" The hubby was just silent, hahahahaha!
After a while, I had all the bathroom to myself. While showering though, i noticed that the floor was glimmering a bit (I didn't have any contacts on). To my horror, the drainage below the sink was overflowing with water! The entire bathroom was flooded in just a matter of seconds and even overflowed outside the bathroom!!!! We immediately called housekeeping and the engineer who checked it was even shocked at what happened. We had to vacate the place immediately. I had pictures but never mind. Hehehehe. Ou
We were transferred to smaller but more feminine (aka relaxing) room. TV was the old box TV and it's location wasn't really that well-suited, but at least we have a room to stay. Our only freebie after that whole big watery mess was a free bed. I was expecting more though. Oh well.
The little girl was quite comfortable with the room. Actually she's getting used to this set-up a little too much... "No Eanna house, I like beach house!" KALOKA.
Then the hubby and I went down to Paseo Uno for our dinner date. (Little girl and Yaya had Papa-Bee for dinner. She only wanted that hehehehehe).
Hubby happily settled for a dozen or so lobsters and beer (kaloka, he only tried a few meals in the buffet, bad trip!), while I loaded on these....
Steak, foie gras, oysters (and lobsters too). What more can I ask for?
Oh, by the way, let me just say that tuna sashimi here is the best. Very firm flesh, very fresh.
The hubby ended his dinner with halo-halo, while I, with cheese. Different likes, eh?
I had to get another dose of foie gras and oysters before my cheese platter though. Hahahaha. Somebody get me some fat burners hahahaha!
Anyway, that's just about it. The day after, we just lounged around in our room. Hubby brought the yaya and little girl home then went back to the hotel. We ate lunch in Tong Yang (hubby suddenly craved for it... another buffet!) then requested for a late check out. *Wink wink*
