I just have to blog about the little misfortunes our family has experienced since the start of this year, after what happened over the weekend. you see, I still couldn't understand how it happened, but I lost a sizable amount from my wallet. IN DOLLARS. Only consolation was that the whole amount was not lost (I refuse to think it was intentionally taken?). I however still couldn't shake off the feeling of sadness.
Anyway, some mischiefs:
- Our new Flip Mino bonked out on us during our Boracay vacation. ALL VIDEOS were gone. Consolation? Better deal... It was replaced with a Flip Mino HD by just paying the balance.
- Less than an hour of wearing it for the first time, Eanna's new Havaianas slipper (yep, only 1) got lost. We tried in vain to look for it. Even asked Boracay regency to help us look for it while we were staying there. No luck. Ack.
- Our car was bumped while it was parked (when Enrik met up with his friends one Friday evening). The guard informed him of the bump, but didn't hold the suspect because the guard felt it was just a small dent. DUH, is Php 5k++ service fee too small an amount???? Money doesn't grow on trees, you know!
I know, these are just small misfortunes in life, but still, it gets into us if spread over a small period,
noh? But again, I'm still thankful that these are just "small" incidents. We still believe and know brighter things will come and are in store for us. For now, I am looking forward to a lot of good things, our girls-only vacation being one of them. Thank goodness we have already booked our flight, and our accommodations as well (no need for a
vacation rental, as we are staying in a hotel at much discounted rate, courtesy of the sister!).
