The iPad is Here!

Finally, the much-awaited announcement has been, well, announced.

And it ain't called iTablet! So, for all you peeps who laughed at the possibility of it being called iPad... Laugh harder! Hahaha!


Ok, enough with the jokes. I am currently reading about this latest offering from Apple, and' I must say my curiosity is not dampened... yet.

Will not enumerate the specs as it can be found in the Apple Website. I however am pleased with their "Environmental aspect":

iPad embodies Apple’s continuing environmental progress. It is designed with the following features to reduce environmental impact:

• Arsenic-free display glass
• BFR-free
• Mercury-free LCD display
• PVC-free
• Recyclable aluminum and glass enclosure

If I were to get one though, I'd get the "highest end" (Wifi + 3G, 64 GB), priced at US$829. But... where's the built-in camera????

So... options open: Macbook Pro, Macbook, or iPad. Hmmm.

Let's wait and see. Seems like 2010 has a lot in store for gadgetry and all. Other new innovations? electronic cigarettes perhaps? Hahahah!
