My poor daughter. Last Wednesday during her classes, one child tried to grab her blocks. Naturally, she defended her turf and grabbed back. There as so much back and forth grabbing and I heard Eanna shouting a bit already. Her face showed extreme displeasure, so I finally picked her up, took her to a corner and talked to her... "Eanna, it's ok, just share your toy to others." Then she stood up, pouting and went outside the classroom.
I tried to take her back to the room but she refused, and just wanted to be nestled either in my arms or in her Yaya's arms (we took turns comforting her). But her face, I can never forget. It was a long one, a pout-y one.
A face not of being a brat but a face that showed she was emotionally hurt.
My poor daughter. Hope that she will not feel that bad again when another child tries to take away one of her toys.
Eanna Has Feelings too!
