Colonics, Anyone?

The Holy Week made me realize a lot of things, but let me focus first on health. After days of not eating meat, I felt that I can do much more in keeping a healthy lifestyle. Maybe I should just indulge in eating meat a little less than what i usually take, more exercise, resume yoga, and do other clinical procedures that would benefit my body. Nope, not the Belo kind of procedures, hahaha.

I'm talking about detox and colonic cleansing. I thought about colonic hydrotherapy or colon cleanse months ago and opened up the idea to my husband. Of course, he said no. It was a petty argument that we had, but I was really determined (and still am) that both of us undergo this process.

According to the website Healthycolonclinic.com:

Colon Hydrotherapy is the natural method of cleansing the colon using a soothing flow of warm, sterilized, and purified water instilled gently into the colon. This procedure cleans out toxins as well as hydrates the lower colon. A colon, cleansed of its toxins, is better able to do its job of moving food through the digestive system, while absorbing vital nutrients, proteins, water and cell salts back into the blood stream. You will be guided by beautiful trained, skilled hydrotherapies.

Maybe when he comes back, I will try to convince him again and hopefully, I succeed. Cost of the procedure isn't that bad anyway. Hehehe.
