Now that it's just the three of us staying in our place (Eanna, housemate, and myself), even if our place is pretty much secured, I still get paranoid sometimes, especially at night, when it comes to our security. That news a few years back about a lady raped and murdered in her own condo still gives me the chills. We have installed a cheap mini door alarm (it does work!), but this doesn't alert the guards down in our lobby. I'm really hoping that there would be something our homeowners' association, together with our property manager, to find ways on how to go about this. I don't think there are CCTV's installed per floor, but I hope these would be installed.

Sigh, I know, it's just one of those moods, especially since hubby is away.
