We went to Megamall early hoping to take a quick look at what's on sale, and what first greeted us was the traffic in the area... People probably thought of the same thing. Hahaha.
The mall was like a can of sardines - I have never seen a mall so full of people. But then again, this is the first time I've been to Megamall's 3-day sales. Cashier lines were looooong, they even give numbers to make sure that nobody makes singit. Sorry, but I'm ok with no discount rather than queueing for more than 30 minutes. Imagine, the liens where so long in the Home section that almost all the companions of those paying were either sitting on the dining chairs and sofas. And the kids? Happily lying down in the beds, mattresses, dining tables(!); I even saw one sitting atop a stereo cabinet!
We however managed to buy a couple of things... another tutu skirt for Eanna, Strawberry shortcake DVD's (PhP 199 for two), my usual magazines: Mega and Real Living (no Preview and My Home yet), this turquoise necklace (will wear this tomorrow!) and clothes for the new Yaya.
Yup, I enjoyed shopping not for myself, but for the bebe and the Yaya. I don't mind, really, that she's the one who acted as if there's no tomorrow. Hahaha. In fact, I was the one who chose the pieces she got (a shirt and two shorts). I wanted her to buya new pair of sandals too but then realized that maybe I should encourage her to save instead, hehehe. Next time na lang yung sandals.
Anyway, I was mildly disappointed that I wasn't able to buy some books to read. It's been too long since I last went to bookstores that I no longer know what good books to read. I'll try again in Powerplant tomorrow. Also, I was drooling over these bf jeans in Promod, but couldn't really justify the price.
I know that there's a similar style in Bayo at a fraction of the cost, but then was disappointed that only items on sale were displayed. Oh well, again will check out in Powerplant.
I hope tomorrow's trip to the Urban Bazaar would be more successful. I gotta change my wardrobe, super outdated na.
