After months of planning, we finally went to Manila Oceanpark as a treat for Eanna (she loves fishes!). The place is small comapred to HK's OCeanpark, and there are no rides, but I must say that our little family (especially our sweetcake) enjoyed what our Oceanpark has to offer.
At the first sight of fishes, Eanna was totally ecstatic and kept on pointing at them, while repeatedly saying "Hshish! Hshish!" (her version of sih, heheheheh). She was not afraid with the big aquariums, not even the big fishes that went in front of her. When we entered the "tunnel", she kept on looking up at the fishes that were above us. Eanna kept on running around, pulling our hands, signally us to go with her to whatever aquarium she wanted to look at.

After the Oceanarium, we tried the fish spa, wherein we dip our feet in a low pool filled with doctor fishes. These are said to eat dead skin cells! Hubby was at first hesitatnt to try it, ebcause he was shy about his feet (harharhar) but later on agreed to do so. When I dipped my feet, a school of fish munched on my feet like crazy.
It was a tingling and nice experience for me, while hubby kept on grabbing my arm (he was very ticklish but afetr a while got used to the sensation). Eanna dipped her little feet as well, but no fishes went to her. Hahahah. oh, a funny thing... When hubby dipped his feet, a huge number of fishes "migrated" to his spot. More food eh? HARHARHAR.
We ended the day with a buffet dinner in Ozeano (by Tamayo's), and given the price, we were pretty much pleased with what was served. I especially liked the very fresh tuna sashimi. The ones I ate were even better than those served in hotels. It's one thing that would keep me coming back to this place! Eanna seemed to enjoy the food as well, as she kept on eating all that we have got (save for the raw tuna and salmon!). Curiously, she liked the spicy beef soup. Exotic taste ang lola! Hahaha. Hubby on the other hand chowed on the Filipino classics. Both of us liked the Mongolian station (well, of course, he liked what I concocted hahaha), simple but the important ingredients are there. Finally, we had dessert: chocolate fountain, cakes, puddings, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Hahahaha.
I really recommend families to go to this spot in town. I also look forward to setting foot on the future Hotel H2O. Location is nice, peaceful, and relaxing 9especially at night by the bay. I hope that they maintain this place, because it is one of those places where you wish our city would look like always (especially at night!). We should be proud of our Oceanpark. Worlds class? perhaps!
