This morning I found a new copy of Seaway magazine (magazine about shipping and manning industry) on my table, and since it was still early in the morning, I browsed thru it. besides, the headline is quite "promising"... "RP Attracts Idle Vessels." At least out of this crisis there is some opportunity for work and income for us here. Anway, what I just observed is that companies are still on "business as usual" mode even if the gloomy crisis cloud is ever present. I wodner if they are affected as much as we are right now? There are still a lot of ads posted by manning agencies and shipowners alike, and continuous giving of custom promotional products they have in order to attract seafarers to join them.
Oh well, I just hope that things will get better in this industry. And I really hope things will turn out even well for our company. Cross fingers...
