Camera Busted, Phone's Camera Busted Too

Yup, our canon digital camera is "busted"... as in the lens shutter does not fully slose. So when you take a picture, there's this small shadow somewhere on the lower side. As for my phone... well, it fell one time and when I tried to take a picture using it, the picture is "white-washed". As if the film was exposed. You know what I mean right? I guess I have to store the pictures in the sd card of my camera and my phone in the MyPassport portable hard drive that I bought. I hope that doesn't get busted though. or else... bye bye pictrues and videos and files.
