I've been sick for the past 3 days, and it would've been a bummer if not for Grey's Anatomy and Sex and The City.
Yep, I have been doing tv series marathons for days now, and somehow it made me feel better amid the chills, clogged nose, headaches, and of course, the lethal combination of fever and asthma.
Did Grey's Anatomy for the first two days, and today, it was SATC.
Goodness, I missed SATC so much. Until now I haven't watched a show that I have related to with so much passion. Well at least back then, when I was single, SATC was THE show.
Yes, I was a late bloomer when it came to this show, only got to watch it after my (ex)bf told me that I was the real life Carrie Bradshaw (minus the fashion sense and writing skills though hahaha). I remembered that statement. I was saying something, trying to be a drama queen, when he just laughed and said "Do you watch SATC? Because you should watch it, this Carri Bradshaw character, that's you. It's scary."
Nowadays, there isn't a show that I can relate to in real life that much, because most of the stuff I watch are either sci-fi, murder stuff, medieval-ish, or for-singles shows.
Closest is probably Grey's Anatomy, which is my newfound fave. I can't vouch for the accuracy in portraying medical conditions, treatments, and discussions such as Tysabri side effects, but the show looks convincing to me.
Yeah, I know. It took me what, a couple of years behind to unearth this show. But better late than never. I love it. I love the message it gives. Yeah, this is one show I could relate to.
Anyways, break time over, will probably write about this next time. I hope SATC inspires me enough to get me back into my good old blogging habits.
Hope I get well soon.
