I went to the market this morning to buy crabs for lunch, as well as other things for this weekend's menu. The price per kilo of crabs remained the same, but I was really shocked with how much prices of other stuff shot up! Example, pork alone now costs 180 per kilo. The last time I remembered, it cost around 140. I probably didn't feel the increase whether it was a gradual or drastic one because I usually buy my meat in the grocery and never bothered to check how much. The usual milkfish I buy now costs 90 apiece. And the veggies! Ah, the veggies. Really the prices jumped.
And I thought our economy is getting better...
Anyway, I'll just blog about how we spent Labor Day later. Too tired right now. He he.
