Hehehe...
The title sounded so poetic and all, but really, I am just referring to my impacted wisom tooth that was taken a little over a week ago. I had to write something about it because it truly was an unforgettable experience for me. Why?
1. This was my first "major" operation/surgery.
2. I had to be injected anesthesia 10 times
3. I could see the blood spatter... yaiks Blood actually dripped to my white zara shirt!
4. My face was disfigured for 1 week, and I could hardly speak.
5. I couldn't eat at all for 1 week. Until now I have a hard time eating
6. Imagine I had to tolerate the excrutiating post-ops pain without the use of pain relievers (I am allergic to them!). I only drank tempra forte, that's it.
Nope, this has nothing to do with setting up my braces, but more to do with avoiding future experience of severe headaches (nerves might be hit by the impacted tooth). Anyway, that wisdom tooth was sooooo huge! Some of my bone had to be scraped out just to extract that dang thing.
Anyway, the stitches were supposed to be taken out last Saturday, but since the area is still swollen, my appointment was moved to this Saturday.
After this? The ortho will extract my 2 other upper wisdom teeth. This time he promised the following:
1. The extractions will only last 20 minutes (each or for both? I failed to ask)
2. Only two injections for each tooth (anesthesia I mean)
3. There won't be swellings big enough to disfigure both sides of my faces.
I really hope he lives up to his promises....
