When Love and Hate Collide

You could have a change of heart, if you would only change your mind
Instead of slamming down the phone girl, for the hundredth time
I got your number on my wall, but I ain't gonna make that call
When divided we stand baby, united we fall

Got the time got a chance gonna make it
Got my hands on your heart gonna take it
All I know I can't fight this flame
You could have a change of heart, if you would only change your mind
Cause I'm crazy 'bout you baby, time after time

Without you
One night alone Is like a year without you baby
Do you have a heart of stone
Without you
Can't stop the hurt inside
When love and hate collide

I don't wanna fight no more, I don't know what we're fighting for
When we treat each other baby, like an act of war
I could tell a million lies and it would come as no surprise
When the truth is like a stranger, hits you right between the eyes

There's a time and a place and a reason
And I know I got a love to believe in
All I know got to win this time

You could have a change of heart, if you would only change your mind
Cause I'm crazy 'bout you baby...Crazy...Crazy

Without you
One night alone
Is like a year without you baby
Do you have a heart of stone
Without you
One night alone
Is like a year without you baby
If you have a heart at all
Without you
Can't stop the hurt inside
When love and hate collide

Eanna's ballet teacher sent me this pic of Eanna during her class this morning...

Along with the picture is a note that said that she's very happy with Eanna's progress and that her V position is now wider, almost reaching her split! Yay!

New Wishlist

Ok, I've finally gotten hold of something I so wanted since early last year. What then do I drool over next?

This...

Yves Saint Laurent Muse Bag in Emerald Green

May not be obvious, but my favorite color is emerald green. Yes, I am a true earth Taurean. Love it.

This is a super Wishlist, because it is now out of stock in Net-a-porter.com (I snagged the images there btw).

Plus this: Chloe Paraty in Ruby Red

L-O-V-E.

Oh well. Same time, next year I guess. It would be selfish of me to just treat myself when poor hubby needs some TLC as well. Gotta replace his old clothes, really worn-out shoes, and probably even his Samsung Jet phone (hello iPhone? Tehehehe). We'll see. In the meantime, let me just daydream about these lovely jewel-colored arm candy.

Little Lady

Because the baby is now a little "lady"...

I just love what she's wearing here...

I remember the times when I went crazy looking for the cutest baby clothes for my little darling angel. It seems as time flew so fast because now I buy her clothes that serve as her uniform when she goes to school. This dress, she chose, would you believe. Now, she prefers to choose her own clothes and shoes.

*Sigh*

This little lady is growing up real fast. I want to relish these moments, want these instances to slow down a bit.

Darling daughter, I truly wish you grow up to be a fine young lady.

Haamonii: A Healthy Way to De-stress and Unwind

I am feeling the stress lately at work. I know I should take it easy but the perfectionist in me is kicking in. I always coped with "stress" by just chilling at home, getting a massage and reading and trying not to think about work. However, I found another great way to unwind: "going back to my habit" of drinking (nyahahaha) without the added concern about health, calories, and the like.

Solution: Haamonii Shochu!

Don't know what Shochu is or haven't heard of Haamonii? Read on...

Shochu History

  • Shochu pronounced ’show-chew’
  • Japanese drink like sake
  • An ancient Japanese distilled spirit.
  • Over 400 years old
  • Shochu originated in China in the 13th century.
  • Japanese Shochu has been traced back to the 15th century, originating from the most southern island of Kyushu (a province in Japan), where the climate is too warm for sake production.
  • Considered to be the very essense of spirits, it is one of the most popular distilled spirits in the world.
  • Shochu has surpassed sake consumption in Japan for the first time in history
  • Japanese culture of ‘pouring for others and not self’

Shochu Characteristics

  • Characterized by its transparent color, clean aroma, and a pure taste.
  • Both shochu and sake are clear in colour, but sake is brewed, like beer, while shochu is distilled, like vodka, and has a higher alcohol content (22 per cent)
  • Low calorie
  • Half the strengths of other hard spirits
  • Shochu can be made from grain, barley, sweet potato, and/or buckwheat. Haamonii Smooth shochu is made from premium grain.

Haamonii

  • Haamonii means “harmony” in Japanese
  • Haamonii Smooth is world’s smoothest shochu.
  • Due to premium quality ingredients and triple distillation, Haamonii Smooth has a cleaner aroma and a smoother, purer taste than traditional Japanese shochu.
  • It is a bottle of premium shochu
  • 100% natural distilled spirit
  • Haamonii Smooth shochu is made from premium grain.
  • Haamonii Smooth comes in both pure and lemon flavours
  • Haamonii Smooth Shochu – Lemon version is simply ultra premium shochu blended with 100% natural lemon juices.
  • Why do we use premium grains vs. other ingredients?
  • Premium grain produce the purest, cleanest taste in a spirit.
  • How much alcohol is in Haamonii Smooth?
  • 22% alcohol or 44 proof.

Drink up! Why? Here's why!

Haamonii and Your Health

  • Although we cannot legally make any claims to the health properties of shochu, research in Japan has shown that shochu has an enzyme that dissolves blood clots – 2X wine, 80% more than sake. Shochu also has less calories than vodka.
  • Can I really enjoy shochu without a headache and hangover?
    • Yes. Due to its exceptional purity, Haamonii Smooth ultra premium shochu does not cause headaches or hangovers.
  • Recommended by Health Magazine – perfect for weight watchers

In general, soju is from Korea, shochu is from Japan. Both are similar, but separated by quality and taste. Haamonii Smooth is ultra premium shochu. More recently however the term shochu and soju have been used interchangeably.

Here's how to enjoy Haamonii:

• Drink straight
• Sipped on ice
• Serve with a splash of fresh juice, soda or tea
• Mix into cocktails
• Most important… Pour for Others!

FYI:

  • Gold medal for shochu from same judges that voted Grey Goose #1
  • Recommended by Health Magazine as a 'lighter cocktail'
  • '91 points' by James Beard Award winning Anthony Dias Blue of Tasting Panel Magazine
  • San Francisco Chronicle staff favorite for shochu
  • 7x medalist for taste

What are you waiting for, other than using electronic muscle stimulator or whatever gadget you have, release your stress and tension by drinking up Haamonii by yourself, or with friends!

New Zodiac Sign?

Taurus may not be my real Zodiac sign now, according to Sify News.

This came as a shocker as I was just lazily checking out jobs in health care industry for my niece-in-law. I mean, woah. I've always been a Taurean: likes, dislikes, attitudes, strengths, weaknesses, etc etc, and now someone tells me that I may be an Aries after all?

And what's more mind-boggling is the fact that there is now a 13th zodiac sign. I have no issues about the number 13, but seriously... a 13th sign? Is this even in line with the heavenly bodies or whatever astrology-astronomy-archeaology connection thing?

I don't care anymore. I'm still a Taurean by heart I know. It's not because I associated myself with the sign by forcing on it but it's more because it kinda explained my personality. Kumbaga, I;m in tune with Taurean characteristics. Ack. Kaloka.

MY little girl had a field trip with her classmates in the nearest firetruck station, and she went crazy!!!! For some reason she loves seeing firetrucks, trains, ambulances, and the like, and so when she stepped foot on the station, she was ultra mega happy!

Check out her pics:

I kinda feel bad because I wasn't there (had to work huhuhuh) but I'm glad that my darling daughter enjoyed her day!
