Rain is Pouring

Is it the rainy season now? I would think so, since lately rain has been pouring down the city. Summer may not be officially over, but I guess I should prepare for the wet season. Rain coats (trench coats!!!) and rain boots, perhaps?

Though I would love to have my own Burberry trench, I guess that would have to wait. Yes, it;s raining here in Manila but it's not exactly the unpredictable weather type of London. But, I wish I'd get this one of these days.

Now for the boots...

I've been wanting these Hunter Wellington boots since I saw Angelina wear the red one in Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Check out the various colors!
They have other prints and colors but I prefer the solid ones!

Do check however this lovely one found in Net-A-Porter:

Oh well. We'll see. Don't even know if these are available in the Philippines. If you guys know, please please drop me a note!

In the meantime, stay dry everyone!

A mackintosh trench coat is stiff and would be a bit odd to wear indoors. But Massimo Dutti is now selling a beige cotton coat. I just got one this Sunday! It is trench coat-like but not belted (you could find a belt that matches). It falls above the knee and is light enough for Manila weather. If you were to wear a coat in Manila anyway, it can't be too long because that would look funny.

Hurry hurry, check it out while they still have sizes!
